Chief Minister Gilgit-Baltistan, Haji Gulbar Khan, while speaking at a high-level meeting on law and order, stated that the Hador incident is an outright act of terrorism and cowardly attack. Challenging the state’s authority is an unacceptable act. The people of Diamer are patriotic, peaceful, and hospitable. They have always condemned acts of terrorism openly. A few terrorists are damaging the positive image of Diamer. The recent incidents of terrorism have tarnished Diamer’s positive reputation. With the cooperation of religious scholars and the public, we will defeat the terrorists. The Chief Minister assured that every conspiracy against peace and order will be thwarted. We have worked hard and made sacrifices for peace, order, development, and progress in Gilgit-Baltistan. We will not let these sacrifices go to waste. The Chief Minister paid tribute to the brave soldiers of Gilgit-Baltistan Scouts who were martyred in the Hador incident, saying that the sacrifices of our martyrs will surely bear fruit, as they always laid down their lives to eliminate terrorism from the country. On this occasion, the Provincial Secretary of Interior briefed the Chief Minister on the overall law and order situation in the province.
