ISLAMABAD: A meeting regarding the Gandhara Heritage Museum was held at the Capital Development Authority (CDA) Headquarters, chaired by Chairman CDA and Chief Commissioner Islamabad, Muhammad Ali Randhawa. The meeting was attended by Korean heritage experts, officers from the Ministry of Culture and Heritage and CDA members including Member Engineering Syed Nafasat Raza, Member Environment Esfandyar Baloch and Member Planning and Design Dr. Khalid Hafiz.
The meeting was apprised that the Korean experts have recently developed a modern heritage gallery inside the museum in Islamabad, which has been highly appreciated by citizens. Chairman CDA also commended the excellent work of the Korean team.
Chairman CDA said that the Gandhara Heritage and Cultural Centre is being developed along modern lines. He asked the Korean experts to prepare proposals for the establishment of the state of the art galleries for museum at the Gandhara Heritage and Cultural Centre. The proposals will include modern technology, video galleries and aesthetic improvements in the museum. In this regard, the Korean experts will visit the Gandhara Heritage and Cultural Centre and submit their proposals after the visit.
Chairman CDA Muhammad Ali Randhwa said that they want to fully benefit from the expertise of the Korean experts. He said that the purpose of involving Korean heritage experts in this process is to create a beautiful, state of the art world-class Gandhara Museum.
