ISLAMABAD: A delegation of investors from the United Arab Emirates (UAE) met with Chairman of the Capital Development Authority (CDA) and Chief Commissioner Islamabad, Muhammad Ali Randhawa, at the CDA Headquarters. The meeting was attended by CDA Board Member Administration and Estate Talat Mahmood, Member Engineering Syed Nafasat Raza, Member Planning and Design Dr. Khalid Hafiz, along with other senior officers.
Chairman CDA welcomed the UAE investors to the CDA Headquarters. During the meeting, potential investment opportunities and projects in Islamabad were discussed.
The UAE investors were briefed on various sectors and projects, including the hotel and hospitality industry, commercial projects, real estate and tourism. The briefing highlighted that the city of Islamabad offers excellent investment opportunities in the hotel industry, real estate sector and tourism.
It was further apprised during the briefing that robust financial and operational models have been developed to secure investors’ capital in various commercial projects in Islamabad. Additionally, it was informed that feasibility studies for tourism projects such as Theme Park and Cable Car have been completed.
Chairman CDA Muhammad Ali Randhawa said that CDA is creating uniform and excellent opportunities for investors. He mentioned that CDA is taking comprehensive measures to provide maximum incentives and facilitation to investors.
Chairman CDA Muhammad Ali Randhawa emphasized that all kinds of facilities are being provided to foreign investors to simplify the investment process. He highlighted that renowned consultancy firms and consultants have already conducted feasibility studies to make these projects viable. He further added that gaining the confidence of investors in Islamabad is our top priority.
On this occasion, the UAE investors expressed deep interest in the various investment opportunities in Islamabad. The purpose of the meeting was to promote foreign investment in Islamabad and implement international standard projects for the development of the city.
