Humayun Khan meets KP Red Crescent Chairman, pledges support for welfare work

Peshawar: Pakistan Peoples Party central general secretary Humayun Khan met with the newly elected chairman of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Red Crescent, Farzand Ali Wazir, at his office. On the occasion he congratulated the chairman on assuming office and extended his best wishes.

Central General Secretary Humayun Khan said that under Farzand Ali Wazir’s leadership, the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Red Crescent will advance its welfare mission with renewed energy and determination. He expressed hope that the organization would play a prominent role in serving the province’s people and helping those in need.

At the end of the meeting, Red Crescent Chairman Farzand Ali Wazir thanked Central General Secretary Humayun Khan and presented him with a commemorative shield. He called the guest’s visit encouraging for the organization. On the occasion, the two leaders also held a detailed discussion about relief efforts for flood victims and the Red Crescent’s ongoing relief work.
