MURREE: Deputy Commissioner Murree, Agha Zaheer Abbas Shirazi, has taken notice of illegal housing schemes occupying forest land and cutting down green trees in District Murree. He said immediate action will be taken against those running unauthorized social media campaigns to mislead citizens and overseas Pakistanis without obtaining NOCs.
According to details, the administration has identified several housing schemes operating without official permission. These schemes have encroached upon forest land, felled trees, and launched aggressive online campaigns to attract investors, tarnishing the natural beauty of Murree.
DC Murree stated that in the first phase, all such schemes involved in unauthorized promotional activities will be sealed. In the second phase, any houses built within these illegal schemes will be demolished.
He added that strict action will be ensured to protect Murree’s environment and prevent fraudulent housing projects from deceiving the public.
