Shehbaz sets up Prime Minister’s Relief Fund for Türkiye

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif during Tuesday’s federal cabinet meeting decided to establish a relief fund for the earthquake victims of Turkey.

Additionally, the Prime Minister urged all Pakistanis to contribute to the relief fund.

He expressed regret for the tragic loss of life and the devastation caused by the devastating earthquake in Turkey and Syria.

Additionally, the cabinet members decided to contribute one month’s salary to the Türkiye relief fund.

Additionally, all officers’ one-day salaries from grades 18 to 22 would be donated to the fund.

A notification was sent out about the relief fund account that was opened later that day.

During the meeting, PM Shehbaz talked about how close Pakistan and Turkey are. He emphasized Ankara’s efforts to assist Islamabad during the devastating floods that occurred here last year.

In their time of sorrow, he pledged not to abandon the Turkish family.

The premier stated that he would travel to Türkiye on Wednesday to visit the affected areas of the earthquake.

Marriyum Aurangzeb, the minister of information, stated that Prime Minister Sharif made the decision to establish the Prime Minister’s Relief Fund to assist the Turkiye earthquake victims during their difficult time.
