Joe Biden nominates Pakistan-born lawyer for US federal appeals court

According to the Washington Post, US President Joe Biden on Wednesday nominated Pakistan-born lawyer Adeel Mangi to serve in the Federal Court of Appeal.

If the nomination comes from the Democratic-controlled U.S. Senate, then the Harvard and Oxford-trained lawyer is Mangi, We will be the first Muslim American to serve in this position in the history of the country.

The lawyer was nominated to the U.S. Court of Appeal for the 3rd Circuit in Philadelphia. His nomination was announced along with other court names.
