PML-Q rejects merger reports with PML-N

Lahore: Pakistan Muslim League leader (PML-Q) on Sunday rejected news of the merger, saying that in some quarters only seats with Nawaz Sharif’s leadership party There will be an adjustment.

In a statement on Sunday, Muslim League Q Punjab General Secretary Chaudhry Shafi Hussain said his party was not merging with any other political party.

Shafi said the party would maintain its individual status and its candidates would run in the elections on the tractor mark.

The party is also contacting other rivals of the Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) in Sindh who are trying to form a great alliance.

On the other hand, in response to the statements of the leaders of the Muslim League in Karachi, the leader of the People’s Party, Sharjil Memon, said that the Nawaz League has always come to power through fraud, Which was a bitter reality, but the PPP wanted to move forward.

He claimed that whatever party the PML-N would unite, the PPP would sweep cleanly in the next elections.

He added that the Muslim League had always remembered the people of Sindh in the election years.

Addressing a press conference on Sunday, Sharjeel said the PPP had built houses for the people of Sindh.

And the ruling Punjab never even made adequate hospital facilities for the people. He asked how many Muslim League N homes were built for people who could not afford them.

He said “Incapable people were imposed on the country in 2018, and we do not want to repeat the same mistake in 2024.
