Rise in Congo virus cases triggers health emergency in Balochistan

As cases of the deadly Congo virus continue to rise, health emergencies have been imposed in hospitals across Baluchistan to deal with the disease, In medical terms, Crimean Congo is also known as the Hemorrhagic Fever (CCHF) virus.

The decision to implement the health emergency came after a meeting in the provincial capital, Quetta, chaired by Baluchistan’s caretaker Chief Minister Ali Mardan Domki, 44 cases of the virus were reported in Baluchistan.
